Limited Base Hardware Warranty

BrightSign^® warrants the BrightSign Hardware media player products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. If BrightSign determines that the BrightSign Product is defective, BrightSign will, at its option, either repair the unit or replace the unit with a new, rebuilt or equivalent BrightSign product model of the BrightSign product.

If for some reason your BrightSign Product is not working properly, and customer support is unsuccessful in helping you troubleshoot your problem, just contactez-nous pour un RMA and return the unit to us within 90 days.

Prior to returning any defective Product, customer must obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number from BrightSign. All defective BrightSign Hardware Products should be returned to BrightSign with return shipping charges prepaid. BrightSign will not accept collect shipments.

If found to be defective upon examination by BrightSign, your product will be repaired or replaced at no charge, and BrightSign will pay for replacement shipping cost.

Optional Expanded 5-Year Limited Hardware Warranty

If the customer chooses, and complies with certain additional requirements defined here, BrightSign will extend the base level BrightSign Hardware Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for an expanded period of five (5) years from the date of purchase.

In order to qualify for this no charge, expanded, 5-year warranty, the customer must:

1. Enroll your player in bsn.Control ou bsn.Content and the registration will be automatic — no extra steps needed.
2. If you do not choose to enroll in bsn.Control or bsn.Content, you can register for the no charge, optional extended warranty by visiting our warranty registration page and registering at: https://www.brightsign.biz/brightsign-players/warranty/

Champ d'application et limitation de la garantie

La garantie du produit BrightSign est limitée à la réparation ou au remplacement des unités défectueuses comme décrit dans la garantie limitée ci-dessus. Cette garantie ne couvre pas la formation ou l'éducation des clients, l'installation, les réglages ou les problèmes de réception du signal. Cette garantie ne couvre pas non plus les problèmes liés au contenu utilisé avec le produit BrightSign. Cette garantie ne couvre pas les dommages dus à des cas de force majeure, à des accidents, à une mauvaise utilisation, à un abus, à une négligence ou à une modification du produit BrightSign ou de l'une de ses parties. Cette garantie ne couvre pas les dommages dus à un mauvais entretien ou à un mauvais fonctionnement du produit BrightSign, à une connexion à une tension d'alimentation inappropriée ou à une tentative de réparation par une personne autre qu'un établissement autorisé par BrightSign à entretenir votre produit BrightSign.

Exclusion de garantie

LA GARANTIE LIMITÉE ET LES RECOURS MENTIONNÉS CI-DESSUS SONT EXCLUSIFS ET REMPLACENT TOUTES LES AUTRES GARANTIES, ORALES OU ÉCRITES, EXPRESSES, IMPLICITES, RÉSULTANT D'UNE TRANSACTION OU D'UN USAGE COMMERCIAL, OU STATUTAIRES. TOUTE AUTRE GARANTIE, Y COMPRIS LES GARANTIES IMPLICITES DE QUALITÉ MARCHANDE, D'ADÉQUATION À UN USAGE PARTICULIER, DE TITRE, DE NON-VIOLATION DES DROITS DES TIERS, DE JOUISSANCE PAISIBLE ET D'EXACTITUDE, EST EXPRESSÉMENT EXCLUE. LA GARANTIE DE BRIGHTSIGNʼS NE S'APPLIQUE PAS AUX CODES SOUS LICENCE SÉPARÉE. CES GARANTIES NE S'APPLIQUENT QU'AUX PRODUITS BRIGHTSIGN ACHETÉS AUPRÈS DE BRIGHTSIGN OU D'UN DISTRIBUTEUR BRIGHTSIGN AUTORISÉ. LE CLIENT N'A PAS LE DROIT DE FAIRE OU DE TRANSMETTRE, ET DOIT PRENDRE TOUTES LES MESURES NÉCESSAIRES POUR S'ASSURER QUE NI LUI NI AUCUN DE SES DISTRIBUTEURS, AGENTS OU EMPLOYÉS NE FASSE OU NE TRANSMETTE UNE QUELCONQUE GARANTIE OU REPRÉSENTATION AU NOM DE BRIGHTSIGN À UNE TIERCE PARTIE.

IN NO EVENT WILL BRIGHTSIGN OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL AND INDIRECT DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF REVENUE OR PROFITS OR DATA OR USE OR FOR THE COST OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), ARISING OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE BRIGHTSIGN PRODUCT OR YOUR USE THEREOF. IN NO EVENT WILL BRIGHTSIGNʼS OR ITS SUPPLIERSʼ TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY RELATING TO THE BRIGHTSIGN PRODUCT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE BRIGHTSIGN PRODUCT. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or limitation of liability for certain incidental or consequential damages, so the exclusions set forth above may not apply to you.
